This a highly competitive examination that is held at the national level. Candidates could apply for this examination from 28 March 2024 to 18 April 2024. The Staff Selection Commission conducts the two tiers of the examination to select the candidates for the above-mentioned positions. Out of 968 vacancies, 121 vacancies will be filled for the central public work department (Electrical), and 438 male candidates will be selected for the border roads organization (Civil).
SSC Junior Engineer Tier 1 Exam Overview
This was an online examination. It was held for three days, 5th, 6th, and 7th June 2024, and was organized for three shifts in one day shift one starting from 9 am to 11 am, the second shift from 1 pm to 3 pm, and the last shift started between 5 pm to 7 pm.
The exam was conducted for a total of two hours. In Tier 1, the questions were asked from the general intelligence, reasoning, and general awareness. The test had 200 questions. Each correct question carried 1 mark. There was a negative mark of 0.25 for one incorrect answer.
SSC JE Result Preparation Process
The authority follows a structured approach to prepare the result. Firstly the authority published the provisional answer key on 12 June 2024 for the Junior Engineer exam on the official website. Candidates download it from there and can object to any incorrect answer using the provisional answer key.
Candidates can apply for the objection process from 12 June to 15th June 2024. After getting the raised objection, the authority will review and modify those answers if needed. Finally, the final solution key will be published on the official website, which will be unchangeable, and no one can object to it.
Staff Selection Commission JE Exam Cut Off Marks
The cut-off marks for the examination will be published on the official portal. It will be based on various factors, such as the difficulty level of the examination, the total number of students, and the total number of posts. The actual cut-off list has not yet been published, but we added the expected list to get an idea. Participants must check it in the given tables.
