The Staff Selection Commission has completed the process of examination for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) under the Central Police Organization (CPO). The examination was conducted online in Computer-Based Examination.
This national-level exam took place from 27 to 29 June 2024 across various centres nationwide. Lakhs of candidates from all over India have participated in this exam and are now eagerly waiting for the SSC CPO Result announcement.

This year SSC has issued a notification for SSC CPO Vacancies in the month of March 2024. The Commission had notified about 4187 vacancies through this notification. The process of registration and application submission was completed by 28 March 2024, and the selection test for the same was conducted in the month of June 2024.
SSC CPO Exam Overview
The SSC CPO exam consists of two papers with multiple-choice questions aimed at evaluating the candidates’ aptitude for the roles of Sub-Inspectors. The examination consisted of 200 questions, and a time duration of 2 hours was given to complete the examination.
If we talk about the marking scheme, then each question was asked for one mark, and a negative marking of 1/4 mark was also there, which means if the participants opted for one incorrect answer, then 1/4 marks were deducted from his/her score.
SSC CPO Expected Cut-Off Scores
The cut-off score determines the minimum marks required to advance to the next recruitment stage. Based on previous years’ trends and the exam’s difficulty level, the expected cut-off scores for SSC CPO 2024 are:
