Earlier this year, TNMAWS issued a recruitment Advt. No. 01/DMA/RECRUITMENT/2024. Through this notification, the officials are to fill1933 vacancies. The application process for these positions started on 9 February 2024 and was completed by 12 March 2024.
TNMAWS Exam Overview
The TNMAWS examination comprised two main papers: Paper I (Subject Paper) and Paper II (Objective Type).
- Paper I (Subject Paper): This paper focused on subject-specific knowledge based on the candidate’s degree or diploma. It lasted for 3 hours and carried a total of 300 marks. The qualifying marks varied by category, with 153 marks required for reserved categories and 204 marks for others.
- Paper II (Objective Type): This paper had two parts. Part A was a Tamil Eligibility Test at the SSLC standard, consisting of 100 questions and carrying 150 marks. The qualifying mark for this section was 60 (40% of 150). Part B covered General Studies, which included 75 questions on General Knowledge and 25 on Aptitude and Mental Ability, also totalling 150 marks.
