The Haryana Public Service Commission will recruit postgraduate teachers for various subjects in the rest of Haryana Cadre and Mewat Cadre. This recruitment is a golden opportunity for eligible candidates aspiring to build a career in teaching.
Haryana PGT Posts Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have completed their matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/ BA/ MA with Hindi as one of the subjects and possess a certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/ School Teacher Eligibility Test (STET). Along with these basic qualifications, they must meet the following educational qualifications for the respective subjects:
- PGT Biology: M.Sc. in Zoology/Botany/Bio-Sciences or related fields with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
- PGT Chemistry: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
- PGT Commerce: M.Com. with accounting/Cost accounting/Financial accounting as a major subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
- PGT Economics: M.A. in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
- PGT English: M.A. in English with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
- Other Subjects: Similar requirements as per the subject.
HPSC Post Graduate Teacher Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
Age will be calculated as of 14th August 2024, and Age relaxation is applicable as per Haryana Government norms.
HPSC PGT Recruitment Application Fee
All the candidates are required to pay an application fee to submit their forms for the HPSC PGT Teacher Recruitment. The individuals must pay the following fee online, as per their categories.
- For Male Candidates of General Category: ₹1000/-
- For Female Candidates of General Category: ₹250/-
- For Male & Female Candidates of SC/BC-A/BC-B/ESM/EWS Categories of Haryana: ₹250/-
- For PwD Candidates of Haryana: Nil
Haryana Post Graduate Teacher’s Selection Process
The selection process for HPSC PGT Recruitment 2024 includes the following stages:
