The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) was conducted on 22 and 23 June 2024 by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan to assess the eligibility of candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary, upper primary, and high school levels in the state of Kerala. Kerala TET Examination Overview
The exam was held for two days in two shifts each day. For Category I and II, the examination was conducted on 22 June, and on 23 June, the Category III and IV exams took place. In the offline mode, the exam was organized. The first shift was from 10.00 am -12.30 pm, and the second shift was held from 2.00 pm – 4.30 pm. There were 150 questions in all papers in the multiple choice forms. There was no negative marking. The medium of the exam was English and Malayalam. Candidates had 150 minutes to complete the exam.
KTET Result Preparation Process
The result preparation process follows a clear approach to ensure accuracy and fairness.
- Release of Provisional Answer Key: Shortly after the exam, the exam conducting body releases the provisional answer key on its official website. This allows candidates to check their answers and estimate their scores.
- Objection Submission: Candidates can raise objections if they find any discrepancies in the provisional answer key.
- Final Answer Key: Pareeksha Bhavan releases the final solution key after reviewing the objections and incorporating any necessary corrections.
