Jharkhand Police Constable Selection Procedure
The selection process for the Jharkhand Police Constable consists of three main stages. Each stage must be cleared successfully by the candidates to secure a position.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT): These tests are designed to assess the physical fitness and standards of the candidates. The PET includes various physical activities, while the PMT ensures candidates meet the required height, chest measurement (for men), and weight standards.
- Medical Test: Candidates who pass the PET and PMT will proceed to the medical test, which ensures they are medically fit for the duties of a police constable.
- Written Examination: The final stage is the written examination. Only those who pass the PET, PMT, and medical tests will be eligible to sit for this exam.

The examination will be conducted in two papers, each consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
