The Haryana Staff Selection Commission is all set to conduct the written examination HSSC Group C Mains examination. The Commission has notified regarding the examination schedule of Group 56, and 57 categories. The HSSC Group C Examination for these posts is scheduled for 17 and 18 August 2024.
Recently, HSSC has issued a notification for Groups 56 & 57. The examination for this category will be conducted on 17 and 18 August instead of 10 & 11 August. The candidates can check the official notice here.
HSSC Group C Admit Cards for the CET Mains are released online 1 week before the examination. The candidates can visit the official portal of HSSC and download their Admit Card by providing their registration and password details.
HSSC will fill a total of 18,889 vacancies under these groups. The Commission has issued the shortlisted candidates list for Groups 1 & 2 and Groups 56 & 57. The candidates can download this list and check their name or roll number in the shortlist candidates list.

HSSC Group C Selection Procedure
The selection process for HSSC Group C positions involves a written examination. According to the recent High Court judgement dated 31st May 2024, the weightage of socio-economic marks (2.5%) has been removed. Therefore, the final selection will be based solely on the performance in the written examination.
HSSC Group C Exam Dates
The detailed exam schedule for the HSSC Group C posts is as follows:
- Group 2: 8th August 2024
- Group 1: 9th August 2024
- Group 56: 17th August 2024
- Group 57: 18th August 2024
Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern
The examination will be offline, using an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet. Key details of the exam scheme and paper pattern are:
- The exam will be bilingual and available in both English and Hindi.
- The paper will consist of 100 compulsory questions.
- Each question will carry a weightage of 0.975 marks.
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
- If a candidate leaves a question unanswered, 0.975 marks per unattempted question will be deducted.
- Five minutes will be provided for candidates to mark the fifth option if they do not know the answer.
- The total exam duration will be 105 minutes, including the extra five minutes.
