Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Graduate degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India. Additionally, candidates must be registered as Medical Practitioners with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council in India. Preference will be given to those holding an MD/MS degree or a PG diploma approved by MCI.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be between 22 and 35 years as of August 28, 2024. Age relaxation is applicable for various reserved categories as per the Haryana government’s norms, with a maximum age limit of 52 years for eligible candidates.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Medical Officer recruitment will be conducted in multiple stages, including:
- Written Test – The written examination will carry a total of 100 marks.
- Post Graduate Qualification – Candidates with an MD/MS degree will be awarded 14 marks, while those with a PG diploma will receive 10 marks.
- Experience – Up to 10 marks will be awarded based on professional experience in government or government-aided health institutions.
Final selection will be based on the cumulative score of the written test, educational qualifications, and experience.
