Required Educational Qualification
The applicants must have completed their 10th Class from a recognized board or institution.
Age Limit
The age limit for candidates also varies depending on the post:
- Forest Guard and Fireman: 18-32 years
- Constable (Civil Police, AAPBN, IRBN) and Lady Constable: 18-22 years
- Laboratory Attendant and MTS: 18-35 years
Age relaxations are applicable for APST candidates, PwBD candidates, and Ex-Servicemen as per the government norms.
APSSB CSLE Selection Process
The selection process for the APSSB CSLE 2024 involves multiple stages:
- Written Examination: All candidates will undergo a written test consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. The test will cover subjects such as General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, and English Language and Comprehension.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): These tests apply to posts like Forest Guard, Fireman, and Constable. The PST/PET will assess the physical fitness and standards of the candidates.
- Medical Fitness Test: Candidates applying for posts such as Fireman, Constable, and Lady Constable will have to pass a medical fitness test.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination, with qualifying PST/PET and medical fitness tests being mandatory but not contributing to the final score.

- General Candidates: ₹200
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Exempted from fee
