The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has announced the Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) for 2024. This exam is essential for candidates aspiring to secure teaching positions within the state.
The application forms for AP TET 2024 were available from July 4, 2024, to July 17, 2024. Candidates were required to apply online and ensure all necessary details were provided accurately within this period. The officials will issue APTET Hall Tickets to the eligible applicants only.
Candidates can download the AP TET Hall Ticket through the official website at aptet.apcfss.in at least ten days before the exam. The department will conduct the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test from 03 October 2024 and onwards.

AP TET July 2024 Examination Schedule
The Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test is scheduled from October 3, 2024, to October 20, 2024, and will be conducted in two sessions each day: from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon and from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Applicants are advised to download the AP TET Hall Ticket to get details about the examination venue and other important instructions.
Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Pattern
The AP TET Examination will be divided into two papers i.e. Paper-I (For those intending to teach Classes I to V) and Paper-II (For those intending to teach Classes VI to VIII. Candidates with qualifications for both levels can opt to appear for both papers). Each paper lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes and contains 150 multiple-choice questions. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Candidates must download and print their admit cards from the official website at aptet.apcfss.in.
