Eligibility Conditions for RPSC Geologist & AME Posts
For Geologist Posts
- Applicants must possess a postgraduate degree in Geology or Applied Geology from a recognized university in India.
- Alternatively, a Diploma in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is acceptable.
For Assistant Mining Engineer (AME) Posts
- Candidates must hold a degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University established by Indian law.
- Alternatively, AMIE part A & B from the Institution of Engineers or a Diploma in Mining Engineering from the Indian Schools of Mines & Applied Geology or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government is required.
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age for Unreserved Categories: 40 Years
- As per government norms, age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and female candidates.
- The cut-off date to determine the age limit is 01 January 2025.
RPSC AME Vacancy Registration Fee
All the applicants will have to pay a certain amount of money as an application fee to submit their forms successfully for these vacancies. This payment must be paid by the individuals through online mode only. The registration fee varies based on the candidate’s category:
- UR/ BC-CL/ OBC-CL Candidates: ₹600/-
- SC/ ST/ BC-NCL/ OBC-NCL/ EWS/ PH Candidates: ₹400/-
