IAF Agniveer Selection Procedure
- Online Test – Candidates will appear for an online test consisting of objective-type questions. The test will be conducted in different subjects based on the candidate’s qualification (Science or Non-Science subjects). The exam duration and subjects vary as per the candidate’s chosen stream.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates who qualify for the online test will undergo a physical fitness test. PFT consists of a 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.
- Adaptability Test: Candidates who clear the PFT will then take the Adaptability Test II. This test assesses the candidate’s ability to adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and adjust to the military way of life.
- Medical Examination – Candidates who qualify for the Adaptability Test II will undergo a detailed medical examination. The medical examination will be conducted as per the Indian Air Force standards and includes baseline investigations such as blood tests, X-rays, ECG, and others. Candidates must meet the medical standards to proceed to the final selection.
