Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
- B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute/University.
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council.
Additionally, candidates must be registered as Nurses & Midwives with the State/Indian Nursing Council and have two years of experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital after acquiring the necessary qualifications.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18-30 years old. Age relaxation is available as per the recruitment rules of respective institutes and government regulations. The cut-off date for determining age eligibility is the last date for online application submission, i.e., August 21, 2024.
AIIMS NORCET Selection Process
The selection process for AIIMS NORCET-7 includes two stages:

Stage I: NORCET Preliminary
- This is a qualifying examination with a duration of 90 minutes.
- The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four alternatives each, divided into General Knowledge & Aptitude (20 MCQs) and Nursing-related questions (80 MCQs).
- There is a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
- Candidates must score 50 percentile for UR/EWS, 45 percentile for OBC, and 40 percentile for SC/ST to qualify for the next stage. An additional 5 percentile relaxation is given to PWBD candidates.

Stage II: NORCET Main
- This is the main examination with a duration of 180 minutes.
- The exam consists of 160 MCQs related to the nursing curriculum.
- There is a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
- The qualifying marks are 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST. An additional 5% relaxation is given to PWBD candidates.

- General/OBC Candidates: Rs.3000/-
- SC/ST Candidates/EWS: Rs.2400/-
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD): Exempted
Candidates can pay the application fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. The application fee is non-refundable, except for SC/ST candidates who appear in the examination; their fee will be refunded after the declaration of results and verification of their certificates.
